In 2008, she graduated from the National Legal Academy of Ukraine named after Yaroslav the Wise. In 2011, she obtained her certificate as an insolvency practitioner, and in 2018, she received her certificate to practice law.

She has worked at renowned law firms, including Arzinger and Asters. Elena Burkush joined Alekseev, Boyarchukov and Partners in 2013 as a lawyer and later became a senior lawyer. In 2022, she was appointed partner.

Elena specializes in bankruptcy cases. She is listed among the most experienced and highly qualified insolvency practitioners in Ukraine. She is also included in the register of individuals wishing to pursue the profession of an insolvency practitioner.
