In 2009, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Ivan Franko National University. He began his career as a legal advisor at an FMCG group of companies, where he actively engaged in litigation and legal support for the companies’ ongoing activities. He later shifted his focus to the healthcare sector, initially providing legal support for the implementation of a project by the American investment fund Advent International in the field of IVF (reproductive technologies) in Ukraine, and subsequently joined the team of lawyers at the law firm Arzinger, providing legal services in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, food production, and trade. He was actively involved in working groups of the American Chamber of Commerce (ACC) and the European Business Association (EBA) aimed at improving legislation in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, food production, standardization, and certification sectors.
In 2013, he joined the litigation department at Arzinger, where he represented the interests of large international businesses in court cases, criminal proceedings, enforcement proceedings, and in the field of bankruptcy. He actively worked on improving procedural legislation and judicial processes as part of working groups at the National Bank Association of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Bar Association, and contributed to the team of lawyers working in a working group under the President of Ukraine, which aimed to carry out judicial reform and bring Ukraine’s judiciary to international standards.
Since 2018, he has been part of the team at Alekseev, Boyarchukov and Partners, continuing his work in litigation and bankruptcy as a senior lawyer. In 2022, he was appointed partner.
Andrii Datskiv specializes in the judicial resolution of commercial disputes and bankruptcy proceedings. Throughout his professional career, he has represented the interests of major Ukrainian and international banks, financial companies, developers, international and local pharmaceutical companies, pharmacy networks, and a large mobile operator. Additionally, Andrii Datskiv defended the rights and interests of the incumbent President of Ukraine in the 2019 Presidential Election and was involved in providing legal support for the electoral campaign of the current mayor of Kyiv in the 2020 local elections.
Since the beginning of the Russian armed aggression, Andrii has been actively providing legal and humanitarian assistance through projects by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, implemented in partnership with the MFOZN “Carpathian Region” NEEKA. He is currently advising on issues related to compensation for damage caused by Russian armed aggression through legal proceedings.
He is a speaker at various specialized conferences and forums and the author of analytical and scientific articles.
